Hello fellow treasure seekers, been a while!

When we left off last time, I mentioned the next update being MYTHICAL in proportion, and you have your wish! Now let's see, where did we leave off..



Ah yes, Veeshan's Peak. Ancient home of the Ring of Scale, now run by the cheeky dragon Trakanon. Home to 6 powerful dragons, Veeshan's Peak is the ultimate instanced zone in this expansion. Could Bane conquer it?



Time to saddle up!



Clearing trash seemed to be one of the toughest parts - a lot of "Don't move!" and "Stay right here!". In fact, the trash is harder than some of the named in the zone, strange!

The first dragon on the agenda was the ranger, Druushk. Being a ranger, we obviously thought he would be a pushover. Turns out, we were wrong! He turned out to be our nemesis..





With 4 people unavailable to help on the fight, and a multitude of epic x2 adds during the fight, Druushk proved to be quite the challenge. After weeks of effort, however, Bane prevailed and ended up with our first Mythical weapons!





Next on the agenda was Nexona, the gatekeeper of Mythical weapons and hardest mob in the zone. We went ahead with confidence.




She doesn't look so bad..



But she was that bad, Nexona proved quite the challenge. Without a bit of out of the box thinking, we wouldn't have been able to defeat her so quickly.









But with Nexona defeated unexpectedly, we had only a short amount of time to clear the rest of VP and get our Mythical weapons. This called for some hasty organization.



Back at the university, we called in some favors, and turned to our fancy book learning to plan things out.



With the help of some new friends...



And some old ones..

We advanced without fear into the depths of Veeshan's Peak, unfortunately, our challenge was met with little resistance.



The second wing was home to Hoshkar, scourge of the original VP, and Xygoz, the fairy bard dragon. These encounters were extremely fun, but hardly challenging compared to Nexona and Druushk. A lot of Mythicals were picked up along the way.



Along with some great visuals..



Hoshkar was a shadow of his former self, but the encounter was very interesting.



Xygoz is a sleepy little guy..



He dreamed up a few things to combat us with..



With those two vanquished, only the guardians of Veeshan's Peak stood in our way, Silverwing and Phara Dar.



All it would take is a little one-two..



But we soon found ourselves in a little bit of trouble.



Silverwing proved to be the only dragon past Nexona and Druushk that put up much of a resistance, he was fun to figure out.



But we didn't suffer through Nexona and Druushk for nothing, it honed our skills, and he went down without too much trouble.



Finally, we came upon Phara Dar, former leader of Veeshan's Peak. Along with her pal, the Shade of Khalen Dar, she talked pretty big..



Just when we thought we were in a bind, we managed to sweet talk our way out of it.







With Veeshan's Peak clear, it was time to get our Mythicals.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to finish right now, so you will have to wait! Oh... the suspense!
